ICM Agribusiness (Peechelba Beef) is currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Truck Driver to join their team in Peechelba VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
n
Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting or tipping device
n
Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
n
Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
n
Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring protected distribution of weight
n
Ensuring positive are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss or damage
n
Conduct pre-start checks on all trucks in the fleet and ensure all trucks are kept clean and regularly maintained.
n
Assist with the implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure that efficient feeding is conducted on a day-to-day basis.
n
Pro-active maintenance of all fixed and moving equipment in the Pen Cleaning and Feeds departments (greasing of
bearings/tightening
of chains etc.)
n
Ensure responsibility for the care and welfare of all cattle on site by delivering feed to all pens requiring it in a timely manner.
n
Keep accurate records of machine servicing,



maintenance, fertiliser and ration testing.
n
Be open and willing to adopt new processes, innovations and ideas in the milling and feeding department.
n
Ensure a high standard of presentation is maintained around the designated work area and farm/feedlot.
n
Maximise the sustainable return from the land, capital, commodity, plant, equipment and water assets used with that department.
n
To follow all required

Work Health and Safety policies and procedures while operating plant and equipment Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
n
n
One year of experience operating trucks
n
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
n
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision when required.
n
An ability to follow set protocols and ensure compliance with relevant animal welfare, safety, and QA requirements.
n
n
