General Responsibilities Lead the design, prototyping, testing, and documentation of electronic control systems and custom wiring harnesses.
Take ownership of circuit board design (e.g., using Altium), integration of sensors/interfaces, and system diagnostics.
Manage electronics system validation and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement long-term solutions.
Support production with the transition from prototype to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with software, mechanical, and engine control systems.
Interface with suppliers and vendors to specify and procure electronics components and subsystems.
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, tools, and systems.
Assist in regulatory compliance and certification efforts for electronics hardware.
If required, travel to field sites (mines and/or oil gas locations) for support, testing, or commissioning.
