Engineering Civil / Structural / Design Brisbane Permanent / Full Time Major Transmission Project (275kV) | Circa 140 Towers FIFO from Brisbane to Central QLD | 19/9 Roster Structural Engineering | Tower Erection Construction Build the future of Queensland's energy network!
We're looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a major transmission project in Central Queensland, with a strong focus on the erection of approximately 140 high-voltage transmission towers.
This is an opportunity to play a key engineering role on a significant infrastructure project, working closely with construction teams to ensure tower erection activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to design.
The role: Provide structural engineering support throughout high-voltage transmission tower erection Review and interpret structural designs, drawings and specifications Provide engineering advice and solutions to construction teams in the field Support inspection, verification and quality requirements during tower installation Identify and resolve structural and constructability issues Work closely with project, construction and site teams to keep delivery moving What you'll bring: Degree qualified Structural or Civil Engineer Experience with transmission towers, steel structures or major infrastructure Solid understanding of structural design,



construction and temporary works Experience supporting field-based construction and erection activities Ability to interpret engineering drawings and communicate practical solutions Strong focus on safety, quality and technical assurance Professional engineering registration or eligibility is highly regarded The roster: FIFO to Central Queensland on a 19 days on / 9 days off roster when the project is active.
When you're not on site, you'll be Brisbane based, working alongside the wider project and engineering team.
