Industrial Electrician – Food & Packaging Machinery | Melbourne

Our client is a global leader in food processing and packaging equipment, looking for an Industrial Electrician to join their Melbourne team. This is a hands‐on role covering electrical fault finding, breakdown response and preventative maintenance across a wide variety of high speed packaging and processing machinery.

What you'll do

Attend breakdown calls and get equipment back up and running fast
n
Carry out preventative maintenance and electrical fault finding
n
Recognise when a fault is mechanical rather than electrical and escalates appropriately
n
Build strong customer relationships on site across Victoria and South Australia
n
Report on service visits and support continuous improvement
n

What you'll bring

Strong electrical fault‐finding skills, no PLC programming required
n
Some mechanical aptitude and understanding
n
Experience on food or packaging equipment highly regarded, but not essential
n
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays
n
n
