The Role As a Wellbeing Partner , you will work closely with principals and school teams to support effective, student-centred decision-making that promotes student wellbeing, engagement, learning and growth.
Drawing on your expertise in student wellbeing, behaviour support, attendance, safeguarding and educational support, you will provide professional guidance, coaching and collaborative case support that strengthens school capability and confidence.
This specialist advisory role works in partnership with schools to build consistent wellbeing practices, support complex student matters and ensure schools are equipped to respond with care, professionalism and evidence-informed approaches.
Key Responsibilities Partner with principals and school teams to support informed, student-centred decision-making that places students and families at the heart of every response.
Provide specialist advice and guidance in complex matters relating to student wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and enrolment considerations.
Contribute to collaborative case management and multidisciplinary responses that support positive outcomes for students.
Support schools through professional guidance, coaching and mentoring that builds capability, confidence and consistency of practice.
Design and deliver qualified learning that strengthens wellbeing practices across schools.
Provide advice on relevant legislative, policy and compliance requirements relating to student wellbeing and duty of care.




Respond to school requests for support in a manner that promotes shared responsibility, transparency and care.
Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality documentation in accordance with system, legislative and safeguarding requirements.
Collaborate with Wellbeing, Disability and Learning teams to ensure coordinated support for schools.
Contribute qualified insights, trends and data to support system planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
In Addition, as a Wellbeing Partner You Will Provide specialist wellbeing expertise to assist schools in responding to complex student needs.
Support principals and school leaders to navigate challenging behaviour, attendance and wellbeing concerns.
Facilitate collaborative and coordinated responses involving families, schools and external agencies where required.
Develop practical resources, guidance materials and frameworks that strengthen student wellbeing practices across the system.
Coach school leaders and staff to build sustainable wellbeing approaches that enhance student engagement and belonging.
Support schools to implement evidence-informed strategies that promote positive behaviour, participation and inclusion.
Contribute to the ongoing development of system-wide wellbeing policies, procedures and best-practice approaches.
Promote consistency in student wellbeing practices across schools while recognising local context and needs.
About You You are a knowledgeable and relationship-focused professional with specialist expertise in student wellbeing and a genuine commitment to supporting schools to create safe, inclusive and thriving learning environments.
You will bring: Demonstrated expertise in student wellbeing, behaviour support, mental health,



student engagement or a related specialist area.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy frameworks and compliance requirements within education settings.
Experience supporting principals, school leaders and staff through professional guidance, coaching and mentoring.
Proven ability to contribute to complex case management and multidisciplinary responses.
Strong understanding of factors impacting student wellbeing, attendance, engagement and learning outcomes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Sound professional judgement and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations with confidence and discretion.
Strong organisational, documentation and record-keeping skills.
Experience working within schools, education systems or related human services environments.
Qualifications in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Youth Work, Behaviour Support or a related discipline.
