About the role
n
Reporting to theProjects Delivery Manager and based onsite at our Silverwater Corporate Office,you willleadthe planning, coordination and execution ofITSecurity and
Infrastructureprojectsin
line withthe HarveyNormanIT Project Delivery Framework.
n
You will;
n
n
Manage multiple streams ofInformation Security&
infrastructurerelated
projects from end to end.
n
Provide leadership across multiple information security projects, including coordination with internal staff and multiple external vendors.
n
Be the primary point of coordination between the business, IT, various technology work streams, and the external suppliers.
n
Provide resource and budget plans to complete the project on time and within budget.
n
Manage schedule, risks and issues usingHarvey Normanstandard project management tools.
n
Provide regular reporting at appropriate intervals to multiple levels in the organization.
n
Work with the Head of Information Security in the delivery of the business cases required to deliver the recommended solution.
n
Adhere toProject Management methods & standards.
n
Ensure projects have the associated vendor & contractual management in place (in conjunction with Procurement).
n
Coordinate and report on the project / program, monitoring dependencies and the critical path to maintain an achievable timeframe, reporting any issues that require escalation or attention.
n
Liaise with stakeholders, senior management and internal departments as appropriate on a regular basis.
n
Attend and present status at weekly and monthly forums.
n
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and support delivery outcomes.
n
n
About you
n
You will have proven experience in
aTechnologyProjectManagerrole,
preferably complemented by tertiary studies in IT, business, or a related field. You will be comfortable operating in a structured delivery environment with familiarity across waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies.
n
You will also have;
n
n
At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management of medium to large sizes (>$1M; 6-24 months).
n
Prior experience
inprojectmanagingInfrastructure
&Information;
Securityprograms/projects.
n
An understanding ofInfrastructure &
Informationsystems,Security
principles and products.
n
Overall awareness of security technologies such as: Next Gen Anti malware, mail security gateway, web security gateway, DLP,
firewall, SEIM solutions, IDS/IPS systems, and other cyber-security enterprise solutions.
n
Proven ability to lead teams with a diverse range of skills and styles.
n
Proven ability to manage large complex projects with multiple work streams.
n
Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs and quality.
n
Effective leadership, coordination, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
n
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people from technical, business and senior managerial backgrounds, including the ability to translate technical information into business language.
n
Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets.
n
Robust skills with Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
n
Experience with developing migration strategies for re-platforming or remediating applications.
n
