Lead Test Analyst – Application Implementation Initial 11-month contract commencing in September, with expected extension of a further 6–12 months Perth-based opportunity supporting a major application implementation program within a complex public sector environment Lead end-to-end testing across SIT, E2E, UAT, performance, automation, integration, and data migration Technical leadership role requiring strong test strategy, governance, stakeholder management, and quality assurance experience About the Role Green Light Worldwide is seeking an experienced Lead Test Analyst to lead the planning, governance, coordination, and delivery of testing activities for a major application implementation program.
The role will establish the overall testing approach, manage testing resources and deliverables, oversee defect resolution, and provide quality assurance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will work closely with business, technical, and project stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business, operational, data quality, security, and regulatory requirements prior to deployment.
Responsibilities Develop and manage the overall test strategy, test plans, schedules, environments, test data, and testing deliverables Lead testing activities across system, integration, functional, regression, performance, automated, data migration, and UAT phases Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing activities Manage testing resources, priorities, dependencies, and workloads to achieve project milestones Collaborate with business, technical, and project stakeholders to define test coverage, acceptance criteria,
and quality requirements Establish and maintain testing standards, processes, metrics, and reporting Oversee defect lifecycle management including triage, prioritisation, resolution, and retesting Provide testing assurance and recommendations for stage-gate reviews, readiness assessments, and Go/No-Go decisions Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test results, and delivered functionality Lead and coordinate UAT planning, stakeholder engagement, execution, and outcome reporting Prepare and present testing status, risks, issues, and quality assessments to project leadership and governance forums Drive continuous improvement across testing practices, automation capabilities, and emerging AI-enabled testing approaches Requirements / About You 5+ years' experience in software testing, with demonstrated experience leading testing teams and complex testing programs Strong experience developing and governing test strategies, test plans, quality frameworks, and testing deliverables Extensive experience across SIT, E2E, UAT, performance, and non-functional testing Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, and modern application architectures Experience managing test automation and performance testing capabilities, including Microsoft Playwright and LoadRunner Strong technical testing experience across applications, APIs/services, databases,
integration points, and data migration Experience managing testing risks, defects, dependencies, environments, and release readiness Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning, and governance capabilities Experience leading UAT planning, coordination, and business engagement Highly Regarded Knowledge of AI-enabled testing practices and test data generation Experience within law enforcement, public sector, or highly regulated environments Experience delivering testing programs for large-scale technology implementations Strong understanding of automated testing and performance testing practices At Green Light Worldwide , we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
