Star Street Medical Centre is a busy, well-established general practice in Macksville, and we're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly team.
About the Role This is a permanent part-time position, working 4 days per week.
You'll be involved in a broad range of clinical nursing duties, including: Wound care and suture removal Immunisations and injections ECGs, spirometry and ABPIs Iron infusions and venesections Assisting with in-room procedures Chronic disease management, including health assessments and care plan preparation About You Registered Nurse preferred (Enrolled Nurses are welcome to apply) Nurse Immuniser qualification preferred — training support provided if not already qualified Compassionate, organised, and able to thrive in a busy setting Comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive team Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Confident using computers and learning new systems General practice experience is an advantage but not essential Why Join Us Supportive, friendly team environment Varied and interesting clinical caseload Established, busy general practice in Macksville Training and career development opportunities
