Our long-term client is a leading national supplier of innovative façade cladding solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality, proven and technical exterior building materials.
n
We are looking for a Specification Manager with a strong technical building product background to join our Sydney team. This role is a vital part of our Australian operations, where we pride ourselves on being a leading specialist in the Aus market.
n
The Role:
n
As a Specification Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our technical building products through precise specification processes. Your primary focus will be collaborating with architects, specifiers, and engineers to ensure our products are specified from the initial design phase to delivery on residential, education and commercial projects.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Cultivate and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and other key stakeholders to promote the specification of our technical building products.
n
Provide detailed technical advice and support, ensuring compliance with Australian building codes and standards.
n
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance product visibility and preference among specifiers.
n
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to align our specification strategies with market demands.
n
Deliver presentations and training sessions to educate clients and partners about our products and their applications.
n
Oversee the entire specification process to ensure successful product integration into projects.
n

About You:
n
n




Proven experience in technical sales or specification roles within the construction industry, especially with products such as cladding, façades, linings, insulation, acoustic, ceilings, windows, doors, glazing systems, panels, passive fire or roofing.
n
Strong knowledge of the architectural and construction processes with a specific focus on technical building products
n
Familiar with the relevant building codes.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and nurturing professional relationships.
n
Detailed understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
n
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive product adoption through effective specification.
n
n
