A leading manufacturer in the building materials space is looking to bring on a Product Development Lead to join their Western Sydney team.
n
This is a hands on, technically focused role sitting within the technical function, responsible for coordinating product development, testing and implementation across a growing product range.
n
You will play a key role in ensuring products are tested, certified and delivered in line with structural, thermal, fire and overall performance requirements.
n
The Role
n
You will be responsible for coordinating product development projects from concept through to testing, certification and market delivery, working across both internal teams and external partners.
n
Responsibilities include:
n
n
Managing and coordinating product development and implementation projects
n
Overseeing product testing across structural, fire, thermal and performance criteria
n
Coordinating with external laboratories and certification bodies
n
Supporting product certification and re certification processes
n
Maintaining technical documentation, testing records and compliance files
n
Identifying risks, delays and ensuring projects stay on track
n




Acting as the link between technical, operational and commercial teams
n
Occasional interstate and overseas travel as required
n
n
About You
n
This role will suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working across testing, coordination and project delivery within a building products environment.
n
n
Experience in building materials, manufacturing, engineering or a related field
n
Exposure to product testing, laboratory environments or certification processes
n
Robust organisational and project coordination skills
n
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
n
Confidence working with technical data, reports and compliance requirements
n
Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
n
Australian PR or Citizenship required
n
Driver's licence and access to a vehicle
n
