Solutions Architect - Canberra or Melbourne

Our client is aFederal Government agency are seeking aSolution Architect for a long term engagement supporting major ICT transformation initiatives.
n
Responsibilities include:
n
n
Lead solution architecture design across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
n
Provide technical governance and architectural oversight across multiple initiatives.
n
Design and document application architectures aligned to business and Commonwealth ICT requirements.
n
Evaluate architecture options, trade-offs, risks, and change requests.
n
Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders in Agile environments.
n
n
Some of the preferred skills and experiences our ideal candidate will possess:
n
n
3–5+ years' experience as aSolution (Application) Architecton large-scale programs.
n
Strong experience withAzure technologies, including Azure DevOps, API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, and Service Bus.
n
Experience with up-to-date application frameworks (Blazor, React, SPA frameworks, microservices).
n
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Commonwealth Government experience highly regarded.
n
n

Active Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory prior to commencement.
n
This position is open to Australian Citizens only.
n
Candidates must meet all submission and compliance requirements outlined in the RFQ, including a one-page pitch and structured PDF submission.

Location:Melbourne or Canberra

Duration:12 months (Initial)
n
Clearance:AGSVA BL (already existing and willingness to upgrade to NV1)
