19th August, **** Senior BMS Engineer - Niagara N4 Certified Melbourne, VIC | Attractive Salary Package + Vehicle Allowance + Career Progression We are currently seeking an experienced Senior BMS Engineer to join a leading Building Automation and Smart Buildings specialist delivering major commercial, healthcare, data centre and infrastructure projects across Melbourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically robust BMS skilled who is passionate about smart building technologies and is looking to play a key role in the design, delivery and commissioning of sophisticated Building Management Systems projects.
The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design, programming, commissioning and support of complex BMS installations, whilst providing technical leadership to junior engineers and project teams.
Your responsibilities will include: Designing and engineering BMS solutions for major projects.
Programming and commissioning BMS and integrated building systems.
Developing graphics, control strategies and system architectures.
Integrating HVAC, electrical, lighting and energy management systems.
Providing technical support during project delivery and post-handover.
Troubleshooting and optimising existing BMS installations.
Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to the wider team.
Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors throughout project delivery.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Niagara N4 Certification (essential).
Extensive experience with Tridium Niagara Framework and associated technologies.
Proven experience delivering and commissioning large-scale BMS projects.
Strong understanding of HVAC controls, mechanical services and building automation systems.
Experience integrating third-party systems and protocols including BACnet, Modbus and MQTT.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Australian working rights and a current driver's licence.
