About the Role Reporting to the Executive Director, Future Students and Marketing, the Director, International Recruitment and Admissions leads the University's onshore international recruitment and admissions functions.
The role develops and implements the international student recruitment strategy to achieve agreed student load, revenue, and growth targets.
Working with key stakeholders, the Director leads the delivery of a comprehensive international recruitment plan aligned with the University's growth and diversification objectives.
The role ensures contemporary, consistent and compliant policies, processes and practices across international recruitment, admissions, and agent management.
The Director oversees the performance and engagement of international agents and partners, supporting growth objectives and maintaining the University's desired Evidence Level (EL) for student visa processing.
The role also leads enhancements to international admissions systems and processes, oversees recruitment and admissions resources, workflows, and the in-country representative network, and contributes to broader recruitment, admissions and partnership initiatives across the University.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 5 October ****.
About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Proven strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate strategy into compelling and achievable work programs.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies to grow international student demand.
Proven ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, and strategic decision-making in a highly competitive and constantly changing environment.
Demonstrated experience in international student recruitment.
Proven leadership and people management experience, including workflow planning, team supervision, and performance management.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex financial, human, physical and technology resources to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, credibility, and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability and willingness to undertake occasional travel and work outside standard business hours.
Qualification A relevant postgraduate qualification in business marketing or sales management and extensive relevant experience in international education providing advice to senior management, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
