n About the Role
n Our client partner, a leading Tier 1 Mining Company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee coal quality and dewatering activities across a large-scale mining operation.
n Working an 8/6 roster, you will provide hands-on leadership to ensure production activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational and coal quality requirements.
n Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily coal quality and dewatering activities
n
Coordinate crews, equipment and operational priorities
n
Monitor coal quality requirements and production targets
n
Manage pit water, pumping and dewatering activities
n
Ensure work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
n
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and shift handovers
n
Identify operational risks and implement suitable controls
n
Work closely with production, maintenance and technical teams
n
Support workforce performance, development and accountability
n

Previous supervisory experience within open-cut coal mining
n
Strong understanding of coal quality and dewatering activities
n
Demonstrated ability to lead operational mining crews
n
Sound knowledge of mining safety systems and procedures
n
Solid communication, planning and problem-solving skills
n
Relevant qualifications and current site-required competencies
n
A practical and safety-focused leadership style
n
