The Role
n
We are seeking a proactive HSE Coordinator to join our FIFO NSW operations on a 2:1 roster. You will provide technical expertise and advisory support to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards while promoting a zero-harm culture. You will support supervisors, workforce, and subcontractors on-site.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Implement and monitor Shadbolt HSE Management System and client-specific HSE procedures.
n
Support preparation and review of SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments, and permits.
n
Identify site hazards, assess risks, and recommend controls.
n
Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
n
Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and verify personnel competencies.
n
Support environmental compliance, audits,



and pollution prevention measures.
n
Assist in emergency preparedness and response procedures.
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
n
WHS certifications (White Card, NEBOSH, Cert IV WHS) mandatory.
n
3-5 years' experience in HSE advisory/support roles on construction or infrastructure projects.
n
Experience in hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance reporting.
n
Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Proactive, organised, and adaptable in dynamic site environments.
n
n

Verification of qualifications and previous employment

Pre-employment medical and physical capacity assessment
n
Site inductions, including high-risk work training where applicable
