This is a DIDO Leading Hand position out at Fimiston mine site in Kalgoorlie.
n
Earn up to $238k per year + super, depending on experience
n
DIDO from Kalgoorlie or surrounding areas
n
2:1 DIDO roster (week of days, week of nights, week off)
n
Local open cut mine
n

What your day looks like:
n
n
Lead a team of ******* people on day and night shift
n
Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
n
Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
n
Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
n




Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
n
Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.
n

What we'll need from you:
n
n
Must have full working rights within Australia
n
A robust commitment to safety and leadership
n
AMT exposure would be highly advantageous
n
Significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
n
Prior leadership experience working on a mine site leading a team of 10+ people
n
High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
n
Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude
n
Hold a current Australian Driver's License
n
Recognised National Australian Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Fitter
n
Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging, rigging, crane and work platform classifications (desirable)
n
n
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
