Our client is a major law firm seeking an accomplished senior lawyer with a specialization in professional indemnity to join its high-profile insurance practice.
n
This role involves defending a wide range of professional indemnity matters predominantly in financial lines, for industry professionals such as accountants, financial advisers, liquidators, and directors and officers, as well as, from time to time, other industry professionals such as architects, real estate agents, and construction professionals. The matters are high value, complex, and interesting. You will also have the opportunity to provide coverage advice.

Our client will consider senior lawyers at the Special Counsel level who enjoy working in a collegiate and friendly team environment,



which is well supported from the partner level as well as with a strong team of junior lawyers and support staff.

Ideally, you have a background in defendant insurance litigation with a focus on skilled indemnity matters. You enjoy liaising with clients and building long-term client relationships, providing proactive solutions and support, as well as mentoring more junior lawyers.
