Responsibilities
n
n
Charge development and production headings in line with mine plans
n
Conduct protected and efficient underground blasting activities
n
Handle, transport, and store explosives in accordance with site procedures
n
Conduct pre‐ and post‐blasting inspections
n
Maintain accurate blast records and reporting
n
Work closely with Jumbo operators and production crews
n
Ensure compliance with safety systems and statutory requirements
n
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and non‐conformances
n
Maintain high housekeeping standards underground
n

Requirements
n
n
Proven experience as an Underground Charge Up Operator / Shotfirer
n
Experience in development and production charging
n
Current WA Shotfirer Licence (essential)
n




Dangerous Goods Licence (preferred)
n
Strong understanding of underground blasting procedures
n
Ability to work effectively within a team
n
Strong commitment to safety and compliance
n
Valid driver's licence
n
Ability to work FIFO roster
n
