About the role
n
Sorrento is one of our most distinctive boutiques - a destination store. We're looking for a Store Manager who brings genuine seniority to the role: someone who has led a retail team, and who carries the presence to represent the brand at its best. This is a role for someone who has the capability in how to run a high-performing boutique and wants to bring that experience to the brand.

Reporting to the National Retail Manager, you'll lead the Sorrento team, drive commercial performance, and ensure V&W;'s standards and values are reflected in every customer interaction.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Leading the team - coaching and developing your team daily, conducting performance reviews, and building a culture where staff feel valued and recognised.



You'll also lead recruitment and onboarding, with an eye for internal growth opportunities.

Driving the business - owning sales targets and KPIs, rostering your team, managing stock and stocktakes, and problem-solving with your direct line manager when needed.

Owning the client experience - building and maintaining a solid VIP base, ensuring your whole team sets the tone for exceptional service.
n
Operating the boutique - visual merchandising, store presentation, maintenance issues, and WHS compliance, all handled promptly and to V&W; compliance standard.

What we're looking for
n
n
A confident, experienced retail leader - 3+ years managing a fashion retail store (or equivalent senior 2IC experience) - ideally with exposure to a premium, luxury or high-touch retail environment.
n
Genuine capacity and polish in dealing with V&W; clientele; someone who can hold their own with VIP customers and bring credibility to the role from day one.
n
A track record of developing and retaining strong teams.
n
Comfort with retail systems such as Kepler and AP21 (preferred), and training platforms like Elmo (a bonus, not essential)
n
Availability to work a Tuesday-Saturday roster.
