Job Summary:
n
Reporting to the Theatre Management Team, you will play a critical role in providing anaesthesia care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This position requires a high level of expertise in anaesthetic techniques, patient monitoring, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
n
The CNS level includes advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, and support to junior staff.
n
Prepare patients for anaesthesia, including physical assessments and reviewing medical histories.
n
Provide post-anaesthesia care, including pain management and monitoring their recovery.
n
Assist in the development and implementation of anaesthetic care plans.
n
Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for anaesthesia procedures.
n
Educate patients and their families about anaesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
n




Demonstrable knowledge and application of policies and procedures within the anaesthetic domain.
n
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
n
Commitment to continually engage in Quality Improvement in line with accreditation requirements
n
Mandatory Criteria:
n
Registered Nurse with current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia registration with AHPRA.
n
5 years' experience in Anaesthetics with exceptional clinical skills
n
Anaesthetic Qualification.
n
Excellent verbal and written communication with computer literacy.
n
