Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Senior High Voltage Technician/ Field Service Engineer to join Powertech, supporting our Brisbane Office, on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

About The Role:
n
n
Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Protections systems / schemes, experience with IEC***** / GOOSE communications is highly desirable
n
Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Substations secondary systems and primary plant
n
Commissioning, testing and maintaining various HV/LV Plant/Assets.
n
Commissioning,



testing and maintaining Power Generation Systems.
n
Commissioning, testing and maintaining Power Transformers.
n
Provide technical support and training to technicians.
n
Provide leadership and supervision to technicians.
n
Competent in preparation of
commissioning/testing
documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
n
n
About You:
n
n
Preferable "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License or EngineeringDegree must be Engineers Australia recognised.
n
HV Switching Ticket preferred.
n
Experience with IEC***** and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favourably.
n
Knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards.
n
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
n
Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
n
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
n
Proven experience in using the Omicron suite of equipment for secondary system testing.
n
Power Station experience viewed favourably.
n
