HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national commercial law firm to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate into its highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure practice in Sydney.
n
This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction lawyer looking to work on high-profile projects within a close-knit, high-performing team that combines sophisticated work with genuine mentoring and long-term career development.

The role
n
Working closely with an experienced Partner and broader national team, you'll advise on matters including:
n
n
Construction procurement
n
Building and infrastructure contracts
n
Design and Construct (D&C;) contracts
n
Consultant and subcontract agreements
n
Infrastructure and development projects
n
Strategic construction advice
n
n




You'll work directly with clients throughout the lifecycle of major projects, providing commercially focused advice and taking on increasing responsibility as your career develops.
n
About you
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
3–7+ years' post-admission experience
n
Experience in construction law, preferably front-end, or a strong commercial litigation background with an interest in construction
n
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
n
Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
n
The ability to manage matters autonomously and build trusted client relationships
n
A proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach
n
n
Candidates from national, top-tier, mid-tier or respected boutique construction practices are encouraged to apply.
