About the Role
n
Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Community Clinician 26+ to join our growing team on an ongoing full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting adults experiencing acute episodes of mental illness, while contributing to their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct urgent and routine mental health assessments in line with clinical standards
n
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic and pharmacological interventions
n
Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans in collaboration with consumers and carers
n
Provide individual, group and family-based interventions
n
Monitor mental and physical health and support holistic care
n
Facilitate access to appropriate internal and external services
n
Undertake risk assessment, safety planning and discharge planning
n
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and data integrity
n
Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance activities
n

About you
n
You are an experienced and compassionate clinician who is committed to recovery-oriented practice and delivering high-quality mental health care. You bring strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have
n
n
Registration/qualification
in one of the following:
n
Nursing (with mental health qualification) – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
n
Social Work (eligible for AASW membership)
n
Psychology – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
n
Occupational Therapy – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a mental health setting
n
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, standards and frameworks
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
n
Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
