Job Description
We're searching for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate Tenders and Projects Lead to join the team on a 12 Month Max Term assignment. In this role you will lead the way as the Tenders and Projects Lead across organic growth, tendering and mergers & acquisition opportunities throughout the Queensland region. Working closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team, you will develop and expand on existing business operations.

What you'll be doing
n
This role is based at our Rocklea, QLD location and is office based with some travel involved.
n

Lead and/or assist with tending requirements, inclusive of business estimations in a timely manner.
n
Develop partnerships which yield growth opportunities for the business.
n
Collaborate on mergers & acquisitions to support geographic expansion.
n
Be the lead regarding the strategy refresh process for the Queensland team.
n
Promote a positive HSEQ culture through positive communication and demonstrated behaviours.
n
Actively contribute to a positive team working environment by endorsing open and honest communication.

Who you are
n
n
You have a Tertiary qualification in business and/or engineering.
n
Minimum of three years skilled experience in business development and tendering.
n
Previous experience in the waste & environmental management business is highly regarded, and/ or logistics, cement or manufacturing industries.
n
Experience with preparation of tenders, including estimations & submissions.
n




You will be highly motivated and have a positive attitude.
n
Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills.
n
Be influential and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
n
Well-developed business acumen and experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
n
Exposure working with Councils or similar is desirable.
