Mercure Alice Springs is seeking a passionate Operations Manager located in the Heart of Australia.

Oversee day-to-day operations across all areas of the hotel, including Front Office, Reservations, Night Audit, Housekeeping to ensure that standards are maintained in these areas.
n
Lead and mentor FO team to achieve business goals and uphold service excellence.
n
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to implement strategies for revenue growth and cost control.
n
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
n
Deliver exceptional customer experiences by maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
n
Monitor and manage budgets, stock, and operational expenses.
n
Act as a leader during peak service times, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
n
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Previous leadership experience in ahotel – a strong focus and passion for hotel operations
n
Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all types of guests and of team members
n
Confident and articulate communicator, negotiator,



and relationship builder
n
Versatile and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
n
Available to work within a rotating roster, includingweekends, holidays andnights
n
Strong working knowledge of Opera/ Opera Cloud, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
n
Guest obsessed focus with the ability to flex in a fast paced and ever changing setting
n
Leadership qualities, with the ability to extend yourself to assisting your colleagues where needed, maintaining high levels of communication with other departments
n
Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
n
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
n
Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, financial management, and compliance.
