Job Description
Who you'll be joining
n
We are a global, ASX-listed professional services group and under our holding company, we bring together several well-known specialist consulting and advisory brands, some of which have been operating for over a century.
n
Even though our brands have a deep history, our central technology team is as modern as they come. We are currently in the middle of a major global push to standardise our entire application footprint on Microsoft Azure. It's a large, complex transition and we need a down-to-earth, collaborative engineer to step in, own our day-to-day integration configuration and help us get there.
n
Where you fit in
n
If you work in the integration space, you already know how hard it is to find a permanent, in-house gig with genuine platform ownership and absolutely no client-utilisation targets! We also know that great engineers don't all follow a linear career path.
n
n
A established Integration Engineer who is looking to move away from the consulting grind, utilisation pressure, or the constant hustle of contracting, and wants to settle into a stable, permanent team where you can actually see your designs come to life over the long term.
n
A Senior Developer with deep Microsoft integration skills who is ready and excited to make that next step up into a structured, supported platform engineering career.
n
n
Reporting directly to our Head of Architecture, you will translate business needs into secure, modern integrations. This is a collaborative role where you won't just draw blueprints—you'll build the reusable templates and code patterns that our development teams can easily run with.
n
What your days will look like
n
n
Designing and governing modern, cloud-native integration templates (using Azure APIM, Logic Apps, Service Bus,
and Azure Functions) to connect our core cloud systems with legacy relational databases.
n
Setting up secure boundaries, database rules, and clear guardrails for our enterprise low-code tools so business units can build their own workflows safely.
n
Balancing robust standards with practical, real-world project delivery—meaning you will help translate technical requirements into clean integration solutions across complex enterprise systems.
n
Building the secure Azure data pathways that connect modern automation and BI tools back to our databases.
n
Running peer reviews and quality code checks on the integrations built by our application developers and external vendors to make sure everything is up to scratch.
n
n
What you bring to the table
n
n
A solid, hands‐on background and/or design experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS suite (specifically APIM, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Azure Functions).
n
A practical understanding of how to link contemporary cloud services with complex, high-volume transactional databases (SQL Server is a plus!).
n
The technical confidence to run peer code reviews and evaluate the code quality of other developers and external vendors.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will need the confidence to advise, negotiate, and guide senior partners toward standardised systems.
n
Low ego, strong team player and a pragmatic mindset. We value reliable, clean and reusable blueprints over overly academic theories.
n
n
Perks
n
n
Genuine hybrid balance (3 days office / 2 days WFH) with full hardware provided.
n
Excellent job security within a highly profitable, listed global business.
n
Merit‐based progression and a dedicated training and development budget.
