Job Description
You will play a key role in supporting, securing and evolving a large-scale location and data centre network, working across operational support and project delivery.

This role suits a hands‐on senior engineer who enjoys complex environments, stakeholder engagement and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Implement, support and optimise enterprise network and communications infrastructure across data centre and office environments
n
Install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco technologies including:n
n
Cisco Data Centre switches and DCNM
n
Cisco FMC / FTD
n
Cisco ISE
n
Cisco Wireless, SDA and DNAC
n
n
Configure and manage F5 LTM load balancing environments
n
Perform proactive monitoring, tuning and fault resolution to maintain agreed service levels
n
Provide high-level network engineering support for incidents, problems and service requests
n
Work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues
n
Contribute to network design, documentation, standards and operational processes
n
Support security enhancements and automation initiatives (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Cisco ACI)
n
Participate in infrequent out-of-hours work and on-call support on a rostered basis
n

Skills & Experience
n
Essential
n
n
Extensive experience as a Senior Network Engineer in a large,



complex enterprise workplace
n
Strong hands‐on experience with Cisco networking and security technologies, including:n
n
Routing & Switching (IOS, NX-OS)
n
Firewalls (FTD/FMC or equivalent)
n
SDA, DNAC and enterprise wireless
n
n
Solid understanding of networking and security concepts such as:n
n
VPN, IPSEC, SSL
n
Firewalls, IDS/IPS
n
BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS
n
TCP/IP and OSI models
n
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
n
Proven experience coordinating network upgrades or implementations across multiple sites
n
n
Certifications
n
n
CCNP (Enterprise or Security) minimum
n
CCIE highly regarded (or equivalent industry experience)
n
n
