This organisation is seeking a highly skilled APS6 Communications Officer who can quickly grasp complex and sensitive subject matter and transform it into clear, strategic messaging.

Requirements

MUST have a minimum NV1 Security Clearance held prior to commencement

Ability and willingness to undergo Police Check

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Partner with subject matter experts to understand ICT and cyber security projects from concept through to delivery.
n
Develop and implement communication strategies to support project launches and organisational initiatives.
n
Create engaging communication products including intranet articles, internal communications, presentations, promotional materials, and awareness campaigns.
n
Provide strategic communications advice to stakeholders across multiple business areas.
n
Manage communications activities and priorities to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication processes, tools, and products.
n
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
n
Support change and adoption activities for technology and cyber security initiatives.
n
n
Skills and Experience Required
n
n
Demonstrated experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, or corporate communications roles.
n
Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
n
Experience developing communication plans, strategies, and content across multiple channels.
n
Ability to engage effectively with technical subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
n
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
n
Sound judgement and the ability to work independently with limited direction.
n
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and related communication tools.
n
Knowledge of records management systems (EDRMS) is desirable.
n
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.
n
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering high‐quality outcomes.
