We're now looking for an experienced Buyer – Accessories to lead and grow our accessories category across bags, jewellery, belts, scarves, hats, and other key finishing pieces.
n
The Role
n
As our Buyer – Accessories, you'll own the category from trend direction through to product delivery, building a range that completes the DECJUBA customer's wardrobe and drives strong commercial results.
n
You'll identify key trends, work closely with suppliers, and partner with Planning, Production, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising to deliver accessories that are brand-right, customer-focused, and commercially successful.
n
This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced role for someone who knows how to balance creativity with performance. You'll bring a strong eye for product, a clear commercial mindset, and the confidence to make decisions that move the category forward.

You'll also lead and support junior team members, helping them grow their careers, confidence, and impact.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Range building and commercial strategy
n
n
Build and deliver a solid accessories range that supports the DECJUBA brand and customer.
n
Identify key trends and translate them into commercial product opportunities.
n
Develop seasonal ranges across bags, jewellery, belts, scarves, hats, and other accessories.
n
Review weekly trade performance and take action on bestsellers, slow movers, repeats, and markdowns.
n
Partner with Planning on sales forecasts, option plans, pricing, margins, and size or quantity decisions.
n
Complete regular competitor research and store visits to keep the range relevant and competitive.
n
Present range direction, product opportunities, and trade updates with confidence.
n

Product development and execution
n
n
Work closely with suppliers to develop product that meets brand, quality, margin, and delivery expectations.
n
Source materials, finishes, trims, hardware, and packaging that support the product vision.
n
Review and approve samples, ensuring quality, finish, function, and cost are aligned.
n
Ensure product details, specifications, and supplier information are accurate and complete.
n
Partner with Production to manage timelines, approvals, and delivery milestones.
n
Work with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to support strong product storytelling and in‐store execution.
n

Sustainability and quality
n
n
Support responsible sourcing and sustainable product development opportunities across the category.
n
Consider durability, quality, material choices, and product longevity through the development process.
n
Work with suppliers and internal teams to identify better ways to develop and deliver product.
n
n
Leadership and team development
n
n
Lead, coach, and support junior team members.
n
Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback as part of our BIG CHAT Little Chat cycle.
n
Build capability across product development, commercial thinking, supplier management, and trade analysis.
n
Create a positive, collaborative team environment aligned to DECJUBA's values.

What you'll bring
n
n
Minimum five years' experience as a Buyer, ideally within accessories, fashion, or lifestyle product.
n
Strong accessories product knowledge across materials, construction, finishes, hardware, and quality.
n
A solid eye for trend, colour, detail, and commercial product.
n
Proven experience building ranges that drive sales and support brand direction.
n
Strong trade analysis skills and confidence using data to make product decisions.
n
Experience working with suppliers, managing samples, and delivering product to critical timelines.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring junior team members.
n
Confidence working in a fast‐paced retail environment.
n
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, is highly regarded.
