An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Data Centre Design Manager to join a leading engineering and infrastructure business delivering complex, large-scale data centre developments across Australia.
n
This is a key leadership position where you'll take ownership of the design management process, working alongside major clients, consultants and delivery teams to ensure world-class outcomes from concept through to construction.
n
The Opportunity

You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, managing stakeholder relationships and driving technical excellence across high-profile mission critical projects. This is an opportunity to influence the delivery of some of Australia's most advanced data centre facilities while working within a growing national team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the design management of large-scale data centre projects from feasibility through to construction.
n
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering consultants and design partners.
n
Manage client, contractor and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
n
Review and challenge technical design solutions to ensure quality,



programme and commercial objectives are achieved.
n
Drive collaboration between engineering, construction and commissioning teams.
n
Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
n
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with industry standards, client requirements and programme milestones.
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience delivering complex data centre, mission critical or major
infrastructure/building
projects.
n
Strong background in design management, project engineering or technical project delivery.
n
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple workstreams within fast-paced project environments.
n
Engineering or construction-related tertiary qualification preferred.
n
