Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager who combines hands‐on technical accounting expertise with the strategic thinking of a Finance Director. This role suits someone who can confidently manage day‐to‐day financial operations while partnering closely with the CEO to drive commercial decision‐making, business growth, and operational efficiency.

This position is key to strengthening our financial governance, improving analytical visibility across the manufacturing operations, and shaping our strategic roadmap.

Management Accounting & Operational Finance
n
n
Prepare monthly management accounts, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cashflow reports.
n
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across production, supply chain, and sales.
n
Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliation, journals, and month‐end closing processes.
n
Track manufacturing cost structures including BOM, labour, overhead allocation, yield loss, wastage, and production efficiency.
n
Work closely with operations to ensure accurate costing, stock control, and inventory valuation.
n

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
n
n
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insights, recommendations, and commercial advice.
n
Translate financial data into a clear business "story" to support board‐level and CEO decision‐making.
n
Build financial models to assess scenario planning, capital investment, production expansion, and pricing decisions.
n
Provide strategic direction on working capital optimisation, profitability improvement, and cashflow management.
n
Support long‐term planning, including 5‐year business strategy, operational expansion, and go‐to‐market roadmap.
n

Performance Analytics & Insights
n
n
Analyse complex data to identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement.
n
Present financial insights in a clear, structured way to non‐financial stakeholders.
n
Drive KPI frameworks across manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and sales.
n
Implement dashboards or reporting tools to improve financial visibility and real‐time decision support.
n
n
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
n
n
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
n
Oversee payroll, AP/AR, banking, and statutory reporting.
n
Improve internal processes, financial controls, and risk management systems.
n
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, insurers, and financial partners.
n
n
Leadership & Cross‐Functional Collaboration
n
n
Work closely with the CEO, Operations Manager, Production Manager, and Sales leads.
n
Provide coaching or oversight to junior finance staff (if applicable).
n
Support culture‐building around data transparency, accountability, and financial discipline.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
CPA/CA qualified (preferred) with strong grounding in management accounting.
n
Minimum 7–10 years of finance experience, ideally within FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or broader manufacturing.
n
Demonstrated capability to:n

manage cashflow and budgets,

interpret data and communicate insights effectively.

Able to think like a Finance Director while executing hands‐on tasks.
