Overview

As a Technical Lead specializing in Adobe Commerce (Magento) and Pimcore, you will guide and manage a team of developers to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions. You will provide technical leadership, ensure best practices are followed, and participate in hands-on development. Your role will involve overseeing the technical aspects of projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of client solutions.

Technical Leadership
n
Provide technical direction and leadership for projects involving Magento and Pimcore.
n
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
n
Conduct code reviews and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
n
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in e-commerce and PHP development.
n
Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer to lead technology strategy.
n
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
n
Evaluate and develop initial engineering processes.
n
Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into projects.
n

Team Management
n
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers.
n
Mentor fellow engineers, sharing knowledge and supporting the team's growth.
n
Assign tasks based on strengths and project requirements.
n
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and productive team environment.
n
Identify training needs and provide opportunities for professional growth.
n
Collaborate with Sales Team, Business Analyst, and/or Solution Architect to assist in providing estimates for upcoming projects and tasks.

Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Assist with technical advice to break down complex projects into manageable tasks and milestones.
n
Monitor task progress and identify potential issues, suggesting and implementing solutions to stay on track.

Ensure timely delivery of tasks while maintaining high quality standards.

Development & Implementation
n
Participate in hands-on development, especially for critical or complex components.
n
Develop, customize, and maintain Magento and Pimcore-based solutions.
n
Integrate third-party extensions and develop custom modules as needed.
n
Ensure scalability, performance, and security of e-commerce solutions.
n
Manage a project's CI/CD pipelines, deployments, releases, and other technical processes per standards.
n
Participate in product design and development of new features.
n
Design, code, and troubleshoot new features, with debugging as necessary.
n
Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
n
Write clean code to develop functional web applications and optimize performance.
n
Review and provide feedback on code and design.
n
Manage tools and processes for analytics data and metrics that measure quality of user experience.
n
Collaborate with designers, QA testers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
n
Work with back-end and front-end teams to deliver a reliable user experience.
n




Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals.
n
Communicate technical concepts and project status to non-technical stakeholders.
n
Facilitate regular team meetings and progress updates.
n
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and technical expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Extensive experience with PHP development and related frameworks.
n
Deep understanding of Magento 1 and 2, including custom module development.
n
Hands-on experience with Pimcore implementation and customization.
n
Experience with MySQL databases and query optimization.

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
