Our client is a well‐established and globally connected logistics organisation with a specialised Healthcare Division, supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences and biotechnology customers worldwide. With continued growth across NSW, they are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to strengthen their Sydney presence.

The Opportunity
n
This is a standout role for a commercially driven freight forwarding BDM who wants autonomy, earning potential and the opportunity to influence market strategy.
n
You'll be responsible for developing new import/export business across Sydney and wider NSW, working closely with overseas agents and internal operational teams to deliver tailored, value‐added logistics solutions.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Driving new business growth across a defined NSW territory
n
Building and converting a strong pipeline of import/export opportunities
n
Managing quotations, pricing and commercial negotiations
n
Supporting import/export customers with end‐to‐end freight solutions
n
Coordinating with overseas agents on bookings, sales leads and shipment progress
n
Assisting with onboarding new clients, including documentation and operational handovers
n




Developing strong relationships with customers, internal teams and regional stakeholders
n
Contributing to pricing models and value‐added logistics offerings
n
Attending industry events, trade forums and professional development activities
n
n
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in freight forwarding, ideally in import/export sales or operations
n
Demonstrated success in winning and growing new business
n
Strong quoting, pricing and negotiation capability
n
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
n
High levels of organisation, accountability and self‐motivation
n
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach with a strong service mindset
n
