Role Overview

A Metropolitan hospital in Victoria requires a Registrar/PHO in Internal Medicine for a night shift cover from 4 May **** to 2 August **** (08:*****:30). The roster pattern is 7 nights on, 7 nights off. Salary is $****** per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care across general medicine on a night shift basis.
n
Work within an acute and sub‐acute teaching hospital with 600 beds and a range of services.
n
Coordinate care within intensive care unit, cardiac, women's and children's, surgical, mental health, aged care and rehabilitation services.
n
Assist in emergency department, including paediatric service, and support maternity services with high birth volume.

It has a range of services including a recent intensive care unit, cardiac care services, women's and children's services, surgical, medical, mental health, aged care and rehabilitation services.

Maternity services has the third largest number of births of any hospital in the state. It continues to grow to meet the increasing demand within the community.

Emergency department, including a paediatric service, is one of the busiest general emergency departments in Victoria.
