n Location: Sydney.
n Salary Range: (AUD $128,191 - $136,132 AUD) Annual Gross.
n In the role of a Test Automation Architect, you will be responsible for defining enterprise level or large program level Automation strategy for our clients using various Automation tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, TOSCA, HPMC, UFT etc. This will also involve defining and implementing the best Test Automation framework, reviewing the existing Automation models and frameworks and suggesting changes, defining automation framework for project/program execution models which will enable our clients to meet the changing technology landscape.

n Academics and Work Experience requirements:

n
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
n
At least ***** years of experience with Information Technology
n
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
n
Desired Skills And Experience Must Have skills :n
n
QA Automation Architect will have complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution for the large-scale enterprises.
n
Experience in API/Microservices Testing & Automation using Rest Assured, Postman
n
Expertise in driving the shift left in current ways of working, Agile and DevOps
n
Experience in Continuous integration environment with knowledge on Configuration+ Build+ Release management is a plus
n
Experience in working with CI/CD processes and tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, BitBucket.
n




Experience in industrializing BDD (Behavior Driven Development)/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity and Playwright-BDD
n
Ability to plan, automate and execute test scripts on a regular basis, and investigate any issues found.
n
5-8 years of UI, API & Mobile test automation implementations with TDD and or BDD environments
n
n
Extensive knowledge on UI automation tools like Selenium, UFT One, Playwright.
n
n
n
n
Experience in
scripting/development
experience (JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.).
n
Unit Testing frameworks like TestNG, Junit, mocking solutions, etc.
n
Code Coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc.
n
Continuous integration systems: Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
n
Collaboration and project management tools: JIRA, Rally, ALM, etc.
n
Source Code Management Tools, Bitbucket
n
Testing frameworks for REST API – Rest Assured and Postman
n
Service Virtualization tools like Mockoon, CA Lisa etc.
n
Hands on experience in Agile environment using CI, with automation first mind set.
n
Mentoring other team members to learn and use the automation test harness.
n
Ability to work with other teams to improve testing efficiency through automation and improve test coverage.
n
Ability to work well under pressure without degrading delivery quality.
n
Should be able to efficiently lead a team of automation testers which is not co-located (onshore/offshore model)
n
Strong Stakeholder Management and client interfacing skills
n
Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
n
Skills Nice to Have skills:n
n
Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering space, like RPA, Analytics driven testing, usage of AI/ML in QA.
n
Knowledge on GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and its adoption within enterprises
n
Knowledge on Playwright Automation Tool
n
Good experience on mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others to provide fit for purpose solutions for our clients.
