An excellent chance has arisen for an experienced lawyer to join a growing specialist practice with a strong pipeline of work and genuine opportunities for progression.

Working closely with a highly regarded partner, you will take carriage of a diverse range of tribunal and administrative law matters, appearing before tribunals and advising clients on complex statutory issues.

This is a newly created position driven by sustained growth and increasing client demand. The team is looking for a lawyer who enjoys advocacy, client contact and taking ownership of matters, while being supported within a collaborative and collegiate environment.

The Opportunity

You will be involved in:
n
n
Managing your own matters with a high degree of autonomy
n
Appearing in tribunal proceedings and conducting advocacy work
n
Advising clients on complex statutory and administrative law issues
n




Working directly with a broad range of clients and stakeholders
n
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
n
Contributing to the continued growth of a busy and expanding practice
n
n
About You
n
We are interested in speaking with lawyers who have:
n
n
3+ years' post-admission experience
n
Strong advocacy and tribunal experience
n
Experience managing files independently
n
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
A proactive and commercially minded approach
n
A genuine interest in developing expertise within a specialist and evolving area of law
n
n
Candidates from administrative law, employment law, workers' compensation, insurance litigation, public law or other tribunal-focused practices are encouraged to apply.
