About the Role
n
As a Kitchen Steward, you play a key role in keeping kitchen operations productive and up to standard. You will help maintain a clean, organised, and protected working environment while supporting the culinary team in delivering high-quality service.
n
Working closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, you'll assist with daily kitchen tasks and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on achieving shared goals.
n
This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced position offering great exposure and opportunities to grow your career in hospitality, both within Australia and internationally.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate commercial dishwashers and other kitchen cleaning equipment
n
Ensure all kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment are kept clean and orderly
n
Remove waste regularly and store equipment appropriately
n
Follow company policies, procedures,



and workplace safety standards at all times
n
Support chefs with general kitchen duties as required
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Availability to work a rotating 7‐day roster, including mornings, evenings, and public holidays
n
Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen environment
n
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
n
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
n
Reliable transport
n
