Job Description
Finance Business Analyst – Supply Technology
n
We're looking for a Finance‐focused Business Analyst to join our Supply Technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping strategic delivery across our Finance technology ecosystem. You'll be embedded in an environment that spans Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FinOps), Basware Procure‐to‐Pay, and a suite of payment and finance platforms, working at the intersection of complex finance processes and contemporary ERP capability.

This role is ideal for a seasoned BA who brings genuine finance domain knowledge alongside strong technical fluency. You'll lead requirements definition across high‐impact initiatives, help shape the roadmap for Finance systems, and mentor a growing BA capability within the team. You'll work closely with Finance Product Leaders, Engineering teams in both Australia and India, and Architecture to drive outcomes that matter.

What You'll Do
n
n
Lead end‐to‐end requirements definition, scoping, and prioritisation for Finance system initiatives: Including D365 FinOps modules, Basware, and payment platforms
n
Analyse and optimise finance processes, system configurations, and data flows across the Source‐to‐Pay and Record‐to‐Report cycles
n
Facilitate workshops with Finance, Engineering, and Architecture stakeholders to gather requirements and guide solution design
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Finance, Supply, and Technology functions
n
Manage and maintain Jira epics, stories, and documentation in Confluence across the FCTG Atlassian space
n
Contribute to BA standards, process improvement frameworks, and delivery governance
n
Mentor and develop junior and mid‐level Business Analysts within the PM&E; and Supply Finance teams
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Hold a Bachelor of Accounting degree,
which is preferred
n
3–5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a Finance or ERP delivery context
n
Solid understanding of finance processes, including AP/AR, general ledger, procurement, or financial close
n
Experience working with or around ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SAP, or Oracle
n
Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for requirements and workstack management
n

Self‐motivated and comfortable operating in a fast‐paced, multi‐workstream environment
n
Confident facilitating sessions with both technical teams and senior finance stakeholders
n
Collaborative by nature, with the ability to influence decisions across cross‐functional teams
n
Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of clear, actionable documentation
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to bridge the gap between Finance and Technology
n
Detail‐oriented with strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
n

You'll have direct influence over Finance technology outcomes across a global organisation, working on meaningful ERP and P2P initiatives. You'll help lift BA capability and work within a collaborative team that genuinely values continuous improvement, cross‐functional partnership, and delivery excellence.
