Overview

A health service on the NSW/VIC border is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for a temporary position from 01/07/2026 to 02/10/2026, with potential for ongoing engagement.
n
Rate: $2,****** per day; Approximate annual salary of AUD 2,600 per year.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Provide psychiatric care as part of a team comprising 2 Consultants and 4 registrars.
n
Maintain day‐to‐day clinical duties, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‐up.
n
Participate in on‐call rotation: one weeknight on call every two weeks.
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical and administrative protocols.
n
n
Qualifications & Requirements
n
n
Board‐certified as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
n
RANZCP supervisor certification required.
n
ECT certification required.
n
Registration with AHPRA.
n
Right to work in Australia.
