Randstad has been engaged to assist a key client in their search for a Logistics Operations Manager. You will take responsibility of their existing Transport and Warehousing business for Victoria. Located in Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs, Our client is leading 3PL organisation who are experiencing consistent growth.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Daily management of the business to achieve planned/budgeted KPIs, cost outcomes, safety measures, and service levels
n
Performing quality checks on materials/stock and identify and report damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies
n
Foster and enhance a culture that takes pride in its performance, delivery and work environment and seeks to continually improve
n
Working alongside
Transport/Warehousing
and Operations Support areas to ensure the operation of the shift runs according to plan
n
Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery
n
Ensure a high level of compliance with OH&S; requirements and enhance an organised and clean working environment
n




Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs
n
Ensuring the efficient, safe, and secure loading, unloading, movement and packing of
merchandise/materials/stock
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Possesses a problem-solving mentality and analytical nature.
n
Ability to work in a fast paced setting and make decisions promptly
n
A Team Player who sees the value in supporting all parts of the business
n
Knowledge & Experience with CoR regulations and Compliance relating to the transport industry
n
