About the Role

Design, implement, and manage the organisation's secure and resilient network infrastructure across the Northern Territory.
n
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and related network technologies.
n
Align network architecture and security controls with organisational guidance and best practices.
n
Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, implement security remediation and uplift activities, and proactively monitor network performance.
n
Develop comprehensive architectural and as‐built documentation.
n
Work collaboratively with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to support organisational safety, environmental, and quality standards.

About You
n
n




Baseline‐cleared skilled with extensive experience implementing and managing complex WAN/LAN environments (MPLS, VPLS, SD‐WAN, VRFs, VLANs, VPNs) and core network protocols (BGP, OSPF, ARP, DNS, DHCP).
n
Highly skilled in deploying and maintaining advanced security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation) with strong monitoring, reporting, and secure operations capabilities.
n
Proficient with Cisco technologies (FTD, routers, switches, ISE, DNAC) and industry‐recognised certifications (CCIE, CCNP, CCNA).
n
Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a high level of technical writing proficiency.
n
Experience in security architecture reviews, operational technology environments (SCADA, DCS, PLC), and comprehensive network security risk assessments.
n

Benefits

12‐month contract based in Darwin requiring a current baseline security clearance. You will receive an excellent daily rate with the possibility of further extensions.
