About the role
n
We are seeking a Bread Delivery Driver for Cafe and Supermarkets to join our team at our Braeside, VIC location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining our supply chain and ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. As a Bread Delivery Driver, you will be the face of BakerXpress to our valued cafe and supermarket clients, representing our commitment to quality service and punctuality. This role is essential to our operational success and directly impacts customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing
n
Collecting fresh baked goods from production facilities (Bakeries) and ensuring items are properly secured for transport
n
Delivering bread and baked products to assigned cafe and supermarket routes on a daily basis
n
Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and products arrive in optimal condition
n
Maintaining accurate delivery records and obtaining customer signatures and photo confirmation uploaded on the online portal as required
n
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
n
Conducting basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues immediately
n




Building positive relationships with bakeries and addressing any delivery concerns professionally
n
Following all food safety and hygiene protocols during loading, transport and unloading
n
Adhering to all traffic regulations and company health and safety policies and adhering to the protected driving policy
n
Reporting inventory discrepancies and maintaining clear communication with the management team
n
What we're looking for
n
Current full Australian driving licence with a clean driving record
n
Preferable to have prior experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food or bakery sector
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
n
Physical capability to lift and carry goods regularly, with the ability to work in varied weather conditions and safe driving requirements
n
Reliability and commitment to punctuality
n
Ability to operate safely and follow all food handling and safety procedures
n
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
n
PAY CYCLE (PAID WEEKLY), BASED ON RATE PER DAY - ACN REGISTRATION IS A REQUIREMENT.
n
For Small Runs: $200+GST ($220inc.GST) PER DAY
n

Vehicle is provided by the company
n
Owner Driver preferred
