Job Description
Finance Manager will be responsible for leading a dynamic accounts team within the Finance department, working alongside a supportive leadership team in a role that requires a professional, cooperative team player with a can-do attitude and a commitment to achieving outstanding results.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance team in completing all financial reporting tasks, including month-end closure, and processing accounts payable and receivables.
n
Supervise an outsourced AP/AR processing team
n
Review, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet accounts.
n
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
n
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including working capital and balance sheet movement reviews for senior management and stakeholders.

Finance Compliance
n
n
Establish and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
n
Conduct regular assessments of internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary.
n
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including preparing and submitting required reports to regulatory bodies.
n
Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements.
n
n
Internal and External Control and Audit
n
n
Participate in audits, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are prepared and accurate.
n
Collaborate with internal and external auditors on business control and compliance matters.
n
Review and manage the GAP/CSA process across divisions to ensure compliance.
n
Oversee and improve business Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficiency.
n
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic business initiatives within the company and across functions.
n




Provide insights on financial performance and variances.
n

Asset Management
n
n
Oversee the management of company assets, ensuring optimal utilization and value preservation.
n
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of asset performance.
n
Implement strategies for asset acquisition, disposal, and optimization.
n
n
Project Capital Management and Cash Flow Management
n
n
Evaluate and manage the financial viability of capital projects from inception to completion.
n
Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and timelines, ensuring effective resource allocation.
n
Forecast cash flow and working capital, analyzing to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
n
Develop strategies and action plans to optimize working capital.
n
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
n
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
n
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
n
n
Experience/Background/Attributes
n
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CA/ACCA qualified.
n
Over 8 years of experience in a senior financial position, with a minimum of 3 years in team management.
n
Solid experience with SAP HANA, CHECK, or Symphony systems is preferred.
n
Experience managing overseas outsourcing services is critical.
n
Analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in process improvement and the ability to work under pressure.
n
Excellent reporting, writing, and communication skills.
n
Big 4 or accounting firm experience is preferred.
n
