need more of a fixed person with experience in Ribbon fixed switches

Responsibilities
n
n
Test of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20
n
Test SIP protocols and testing SIP voice connections to PABX
n
Use probes & analysers and signal generators such as Tektronix Iris (probe solution) and Niometrics (probe solution)
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
6 to 12 years of Industry experience with Telecom background and knowledge.
n
Bachelors degree (or higher) in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Technology / Telecommunications
n
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed or core mobile network manual / automation testing as test engineer with Lab testing exposure.
n
Comprehensive understanding of internet protocols in data, voice and video suites.
n
Experience in design,



deployment or testing of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20
n
Hands-on experience working on SIP Protocols and testing SIP voice connecting to PABX
n
Hands-on experience working using Probes & Analysers and signal generators like Tektronix Iris (probe solution) & Niometrics (probe solution)
n
Ability to understand and assess requirements and processes, problem solving attitude.
n
Very positive understanding of Software testing lifecycle, process and methodologies and experienced test engineer with innate ability to identify and resolve issues/defects.
n
Ability to transfer knowledge to team members and communicate well both orally and in writing
