Job Description

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
n
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end processes.
n
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and provide insights into variances.
n
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
n
Oversee tax compliance and reporting, including BAS and FBT submissions.
n
Support budgeting and forecasting activities to assist management decision-making.
n
Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
n
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
n

The Successful Applicant
n
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n
Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent) are highly regarded.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
n
Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
n
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‐solving.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
