Position Overview

Current open permanent positions: 2. The role is a Clinical Nurse in the primary care setting of prison health services. Provide clinical leadership, critical thinking, and direct patient care throughout the patient journey in a custodial setting. The position offers flexible schedule, autonomy, nurse‐led clinics, and the ability to up‐skill and fast‐track your nursing career.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership, critical thinking, and direct care to patients.
n
Manage delivery of nursing care for routine, urgent, and chronic disease conditions.
n
Health promotion, education, preventative health, immunisation, emergency response and medication management.
n
n
Eligibility
n
n
Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
n
Demonstrated skills and experience in senior‐level clinical nursing practice.
n
Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or a valid working visa for Australia.
