Key responsibilities:
n

Leadership and Strategy
n
n
Lead the development and execution of the company's asset management strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
n
Provide expert guidance and leadership to the Asset Management team and cross-functional stakeholders.
n
Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
n
n
Asset Management
n
n
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organisation's Asset Management System in alignment with ISO ***** and other industry standards.
n
Establish and maintain the Asset Regulatory and Compliance System to ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.
n
Act as the organisations Engineering Authority, responsible for the governance of design, maintenance, and construction standards to ensure secure and efficient operations.
n
Ensure the integration of data-driven decision-making tools and technologies into asset planning and operations.
n
Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of asset data and performance metrics.
n
Provide the technical support services to asset protection initiatives, including the coordination of "Before You Dig Australia" and other stakeholder engagements.
n

Governance and Compliance
n
n
Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining robust reporting and audit processes.
n
Serve as the key point of contact for regulators, ensuring alignment with legal obligations and fostering transparent communication.
n
Oversee the risk management framework related to asset management, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and reported appropriately.
n
Manage audits and reviews related to asset management systems and standards.
n
n
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
n
n
Identify and implement industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative methodologies to enhance asset performance.
n
Monitor global and domestic trends in asset management to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of the industry.
n
Drive initiatives that improve lifecycle cost management, asset reliability, and operational efficiency.
n
n
Stakeholder Engagement
n
n
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
n
Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, and technology providers, to represent the company's interests.
n
Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to the executive leadership team and board.
n

Key Selection Criteria
n

Essential Qualifications
n
n
Degree qualified in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field.
n
Registered as a professional engineer.
n
n
Experience
n
n
Proven experience in leading and implementing asset management systems and standards.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian energy regulations and compliance frameworks.
n
Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and driving organisational change.
n
Experience with advanced asset management tools, technologies, and analytics.
n
