The role

They are currently seeking an Associate Director to join their team, focusing on statutory planning, development approvals, strategic planning, and rezoning preparation and management. You will play a key role in advising clients across various sectors, preparing detailed planning reports, managing projects, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide expert advice within the NSW statutory and strategic land use planning framework.
n
Prepare and review planning documentation such as Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, Planning Proposals, Legal Briefs, and others.
n
Engage with clients and government stakeholders, managing project timelines and deliverables.
n




Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
n
Contribute to business development activities including fee proposals and tender submissions.
n

What you'll need
n
n
Strong understanding of NSW environmental planning legislation.
n
Experience in statutory planning, development approvals, and strategic planning.
n
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
n
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
n
Experience mentoring or managing junior staff is advantageous.
