Refrigeration Service Technician - Cairns

Service Technician - Supporting a group of stores across the Cairns Region. Be exposed to the latest refrigeration technologies and training. Permanent full-time role. Travel required – supporting from Mossman to Atherton Tablelands to Innisfail.

What You'll Do
n
n
Ensure facilities management services to customers are at the highest levels and operate as a proactive, responsive and efficient service model.
n
Visit various stores to perform troubleshooting, identify issues and service equipment.
n
Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules.
n
Complete associated administration and reporting.
n
Monitor replacement spare part inventory and recommend capital works to help reduce operational costs.
n
Work closely with facilities management, support and technical teams, store teams and our call support centre team.
n
Work closely with construction teams, informing engineers, planning for replacements and assisting in prioritising capital works.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Trade qualifications in Refrigeration.
n
Current QBCC Occupational Mechanical Services – Air Con & Refrig (Limited Design), QBCC Occupational Mechanical Services – Plumbing, Arctic licence, Gas Work (Hydrocarbon) Licence, Drivers Licence and Energy Secure Restricted Electrical Worker's licence.
n




Solid post‐apprenticeship experience, including experience within the commercial refrigeration service and installation industry.
n
Flexibility to work overtime and travel to various sites.
n
A good level of computer literacy.
n
Understanding of CO2 systems, Emerson & RDM controls is advantageous.
n
The ability to work autonomously while building great relationships with partners and external contractors.
