This ambitious, well-funded and rapidly scaling residential trade services group has built a reputation for fast, reliable, flat-rate plumbing and hot water services across South East Queensland — and is now accelerating into a genuine national platform. With several live regions already generating multi‐million dollar annualised revenue, and several dozen identified markets in the national expansion pipeline, the business is building‐out of a true multi‐trade national footprint (plumbing today, electrical and HVAC to follow).
Reporting directly to the Founders, the General Manager will take full ownership of day‐to‐day operations, financial performance, and team leadership across all regions — while playing a genuine seat‐at‐the‐table role in shaping the strategy, systems and culture needed to scale into a category‐defining national business. This is not a caretaker mandate: the Founders are seeking a leader who brings strong vision, sage industry judgement, and the confidence to challenge their thinking, not simply execute it.
This role will appeal to a commercially sharp, hands‐on operator who has genuinely earned credibility in residential trade services — someone equally comfortable on a job site as in a boardroom, who understands what it takes to protect a flat‐rate pricing model and a high‐performance field culture through rapid, funded growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own day‐to‐day operations across all live regions, ensuring consistent service delivery, response times, and technician productivity.
Deliver the roadmap toward doubling turnover,



including new region sequencing, launch playbooks, and resourcing.
Champion and protect the company's flat‐rate pricing model as new markets and trades are added.
Own full P&L; accountability — budgeting, forecasting, and margin discipline across the business.
Lead the EOS operating rhythm — weekly L10 meetings, quarterly Rocks, and Scorecard reviews — driving disciplined execution and fast issue resolution.
Champion high‐utilisation adoption of ServiceTitan (or equivalent platforms) to drive visibility, automation, and data‐driven decision‐making.
Build a scalable second‐tier leadership structure as new regions launch, and protect team culture and retention through a period of rapid growth.
Provide informed counsel on the eventual expansion into Electrical and HVAC, leveraging genuine cross‐trade experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven General Manager or senior operational leadership experience within a residential, reactive‐service trade business (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or closely related field services).
Direct, hands‐on experience implementing or operating a flat‐rate / fixed‐price billing model.




Genuine gravitas with tradespeople — someone who commands respect on the tools as much as in a leadership meeting.
Strong financial literacy with demonstrated P&L; ownership in a multi‐site or multi‐region environment.
Working knowledge of modern field service platforms — ServiceTitan strongly preferred, Simpro or equivalent considered.
Familiarity with EOS / Traction or comparable operating frameworks highly regarded.
Comfortable operating in a fast‐paced, direct, founder‐led environment where priorities move quickly.
